About Us

Working with children has been my passion ever since I was a teenager assisting in child care at my church. I enjoyed seeing children interact with one another, awed by their capacity to learn, and encouraged by their optimistic worldview; this eventually led me to become actively involved as one of the children’s ministry coordinator. Since then, I have received my Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education with a goal to pursue a teaching career in private education.

After college, I got married and had my firstborn child. As starting a family became a priority, I knew that my career would have to wait. With God’s direction and encouragement from family and friends, we found that my career did not have to be put on hold. The answer? Having a family daycare. I would be able to do what I love most—to pursue my career and raise my own at the same time. Thus, Kidz Haven was born in 2005

I’ve been a stay at home mom since and have started a small family daycare in La Palma in Orange County. The families that have come through our doors have become part of our extended family. Now we have relocated to Corona and teaming up with my husband, we are very excited to expand our daycare and introduce Kidz Haven to the Inland Empire.

Enjoy your visit. And as you view our site, we hope that what we have to offer will fit your family’s needs as well.
